Der Tagesbedarf an Calcium liegt bei ca. 50 – 90 mg je kg Körpergewicht. Welpen, Junghunde im Wachstum und trächtige Hündinnen haben einen erhöhten Calciumbedarf.
Fütterungsempfehlungen sind nur Richtwerte, individuelle Bedürfnisse können davon abweichen und die Futtermenge sollte dementsprechend angepasst werden.

Recommended dosage:
1g of eggshell powder contains approx. 370mg of calcium
For cats and very small dogs: 1 heaped Msp. (approx. 0.07g)
Small races: 1/4 level teaspoon (approx. 0.55g)
Medium-sized races: 1/2 level teaspoon (approx. 1.35g)
Big races: 1 level teaspoon (approx. 2.8g)
The daily requirement of calcium is approx. 50 – 90 mg per kg of body weight. If the animal is given a bone, the amount of calcium should be correspondingly reduced. Puppies, young dogs which are still growing and pregnant bitches need a larger amount of calcium.
Recommended doses are only guidelines and individual needs may deviate, so the amount given should be accordingly adjusted.
